POINTROLL BANNERS
Expandable video banners prompted users to delve deeper into the photographers’ experience. Each photograph, taken under different light conditions, allowed us to talk about the lenses ability to adjust to changing light. The user could also ‘experience’ Transitions by comparing it to other lenses.

ADPODS
Like most entertainment portals, abc.com shows non-skippable ads. To enhance the user experience we decided to approach it more like a mini-site instead of running the 30-seconds TV spot. This allowed us to share much more information about the lenses, as well as give people the option to engage while they waited for their show to come back on.

MICROSITE
Teasers drove traffic to the microsite where the story was completed.

AmbienCR was introduced as the way to Silence Your Rooster, and a simple educational section explained the benefits of the product. Specifically, how the second layer was designed to ensure you didn’t wake up in the middle of the night.

A game where users could ‘silence their rooster’ by throwing pillows at it as it popped its head up in different places in a bedroom, was the most popular section.

All the videos were available as well.

GYM POSTERS
Posters were placed in health club locker rooms in two major gym chains.

Both efforts drove traffic to the microsite.
MICROSITE
The microsite was developed for the user to have an opportunity for further brand engagement. Both in a practical way—by learning about the Durex line of products; but also in a fun way—by prompting users to create e-cards expressing their pleasures.

Users could also find their nearest store or be redirected to drugstore.com to purchase Durex products.

Newly launched products get an animated call-out on the homepage. On rollover information about the product is displayed.

The ‘little green men’ are the main protagonists in the TV and print executions, online we wanted to continue their story. Consumer research showed that people want to annihilate fleas and ticks. Besides a more in depth education about the product, the interactive medium allowed us to put the killing in the hands of the user. In a fun and engaging way.

ENTERTAINMENT SECTION

In this section users can watch
the TV spot. But, more importantly, they can get to killing fleas and ticks in two entertaining ways.
A game and an animated video in which the user and her friends become the characters.
FLEAS AND DESIST

A simple yet addictive tile game. By killing fleas and ticks the user gets points. The Frontline Plus green characters appear to help out with the killing. The user can challenge friends to beat her score through e-mail, Facebook and Twitter. She can also share her high score the same way.
FLEA KILLAH

The user uploads a photo of her face and the faces and her friends and then watches herself kill fleas and ticks—who look pecularly like her friends. The video can be shared through e-mail, Facebook and Twitter.
EDUCATION SECTION

Although the official Frontline Plues has in depth information on the product benefits and application information, the microsite has concise and simple benefit call-outs. This section also includes a very simple and user-friendly application video.

The tv spot launched before the newly redesigned paper hit the streets. The purpose was to seed the idea that everybody sees what goes on in the world from a different perspective.

PRINT/BANNERS
PHASE 1—The first batch of press ads and banners appeared in The Age, on both printed and online versions.
Their aim was to announce the upcoming design/layout overhaul.

Tagline — ‘See The Age differently’.





























PHASE 2—Once the new paper was launched, ads and banners supported the brand campaign. Each execution was topical. We had access to the newspaper’s stories and image ahead of time. Because of the pace of news the campaign had to be very flexible. We handed over guidelines so that the newspaper could come up with their own daily ads/banners, while we focused on supporting investigative pieces that could be seeded over time.

The RSPCA is well known for their shock tactics, however, in this case we felt the images were so moving that juxtaposing them against an ironic cruise ship voice-over added power to the message.

This print and OOH campaign raised awareness by 33%.
When a popular radio morning show singled it out as potential traffic hazard, it became an unofficial viral web campaign, with people uploading funny headlines and poster imitations.
